Single MomEase was founded to give a voice to the experiences and learnings involved in navigating the single motherhood journey.  This journey is damn hard!  Many days it feels daunting and thankless.  Single MomEase wants to ease the challenges that single moms face.

Our Single Mom-in-chief, Alexis Scaife, became a single mother in 2014.  She is mom to two beautiful daughters that test (and strengthen) her daily.

 

On her journey, she's had to steer through obstacles in parenting, finances, career satisfaction, relationships, and work/life balance.  Over time, she realized she was not alone in her struggle and created this space to articulate the unique perspective of single moms and to comfort other single moms in knowing that there is a community that understands what they're going through.
